APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COMPENSATING PRINT START POSITION OF LIGHT SCRIBE DISC

PURPOSE: A device for compensating for a printing start point of a light scribe disc and a method thereof are provided to compensate for the difference between a set innermost location and a current innermost location just before label printing. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer(15) measures an optical pickup moving distance from the innermost location of a light scribe disc to a control feature outer ring. The microcomputer calculates the difference between the measures moving distance and a current location. The microcomputer detects a current innermost location. The microcomputer calculates a separation distance between the detected current innermost location and a set innermost location. The microcomputer moves an optical pickup as much as the separation distance. The microcomputer starts a label printing operation.
