<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel type terminal, a word deletion method, and a program capable of deleting a word with an easy operation. <P>SOLUTION: A touch panel type terminal 1 comprises; a word specification part 121 specifying the word displayed at the closest position to the position of a touch operation which is detected by a touch panel 11 as a deletion target word among multiple words, when the touch operation in a word input area is detected by the touch panel 11; a word deletion part 123 deleting the deletion target word from the word input area, corresponding to detection of a flick operation following the touch operation by the touch panel 11, when the deletion target word is specified by the word specification part 121; and an alignment part 125 aligning a character string displayed in the word input area to redisplay it in the word input area, when the deletion target word has been deleted by the word deletion part 123. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
