<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which since there does not exist any method of calculating a processor activity ratio in an SMT processor without using any special hardware mechanism, and there does not exist any method of correctly calculating the processor activity ratio in many SMT processors, an error is generated in the estimation of the processing capability of the SMT processor or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The calculation section of the processor activity ratio of a logical processor is divided into a single task mode (ST) execution time and a multi-task mode (MT) execution time, and the processor activity ratio is appropriately calculated by using the magnitude relation of each time, and the sum of a value calculated by multiplying the MT execution time by the predetermined processor resource assignment rate of the MT mode and the ST mode execution time is calculated as the processor usage of the logical processor within the calculation section as the object of calculation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
