<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with enhanced safety. <P>SOLUTION: The connector has a male connector and a female connector. The male connector has a first plug terminal, a second plug terminal, a first switch terminal and a second switch terminal on a periphery, while the female connector has a first jack terminal, a second jack terminal, a first contact part and a second contact part on the periphery. The first jack terminal is contacted with the first contact part, while the second jack terminal is contacted with the second contact part.
