<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a night scene light source detection device and a night scene light source detection method which determine whether an image is taken under irradiation with a specific light source in a night scene. <P>SOLUTION: A night scene light source detection device comprises: a pixel value acquisition means which acquires a pixel value of each pixel in an input image; a night scene feature extraction means which extracts the areas respectively having an average corrected-luminance-value and a high corrected-luminance-value in the input image, as two night scene characteristics; a night scene image detection means which determines whether the input image is a night scene image or a non-night scene image on the basis of the extracted two night scene characteristics; a specific color detection means which detects whether each pixel in the night scene image belongs to the specific color; and a night scene light source determination means which determines whether the night scene image has been taken under irradiation with the specific light source in the night scene, on the basis of the detection result of the specific color. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
