<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing that can suppress degradation in waterproofness even for casing bodies having more complicated shapes. <P>SOLUTION: A casing 1 includes an O-ring 2, a pair of casing bodies 3a, 3b and an O-ring groove 8. The O-ring 2 is elastic. The pair of casing bodies 3a, 3b form a storage space with the O-ring 2 in between, and are coupled with forces applied in approaching directions of each other. Abutting faces 5 of the pair of casing bodies 3a, 3b abutting the O-ring 2 include inclined faces 7 inclined with respect to the directions X of force application. The O-ring groove 8 is formed in the inclined face 7 of at least one casing body 3b of the pair of casing bodies 3a, 3b for extension in the direction Y of inclination of the inclined face 7 so as to position the O-ring 2.
