<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display device capable of reducing unnaturalness and discomfort caused by a reverse view, without a hitch. <P>SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image display device which allows observation of images for each view point in each of plural observation areas displays both or either of a pair of images which are in a reverse-view relation in the vicinity of the end of the observation area, using data different from image data for view points.
