<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head minimizing deterioration in carry even when a hitting point is shifted toward the vicinity of the upper part of the toe side, the lower part of the heel side or the toe side, or the upper part of the heel side. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club head 1 has a hollow shell structure having a face portion 2, a sole portion 3, a back portion 4, a crown portion 5, a toe side portion 6, a heel side portion 7, and a hosel portion 8. A groove 10 is provided from the upper rear part of the toe side portion 6 to the lower rear part of the heel side portion 7 through the back portion 4, and a groove 10A is provided to be oppositely inclined to the groove. Any of the grooves 10 and 10A is mounted with a weight body 11. Elongated holes 11a are provided at both longitudinal ends of the weight body 11 to removably fix the weight body 11, and a bolt 12 is inserted through the elongated hole 11a and threaded into the female threaded hole 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
