<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of: positively executing a sleep mode of a prescribed interval from a preset time of day; and reducing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus 10, transition is made into the sleep mode at a preset time of day, and the sleep mode is continued for a prescribed interval. The image forming apparatus includes: an input part 12 for inputting a printing job; a printing part 18 for executing printing of the printing job; a memory part 16 for storing a printing job overlapping the sleep mode interval as a hold printing job; and a control part 13 for making the memory part 16 store the hold printing job therein and making the printing part 18 execute printing of the hold printing job stored in the memory part 16 after the sleep mode interval is ended. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
