<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fertilizer having high bactericidal effect, such as a foliar spraying agent. <P>SOLUTION: This fertilizer includes a formate and formic acid. As the formate, calcium formate is desirable. The fertilizer can be used as a foliar spraying agent to be sprayed on leaf surfaces of farm products such as a fruit tree or a vegetable.
