<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user of whether or how the ink in an ink cartridge has been stirred. <P>SOLUTION: An ink cartridge 1 is configured to supply ink 8. The ink cartridge has: an ink pack 7 for storing the ink 8; a magnetic vibrator 14; and a magneto coil 13 arranged along a moving path of the magnetic vibrator 14. The ink cartridge is configured such that at least one of the magnetic vibrator 14 and the magneto coil 13 is arranged so as to move relative to the ink pack 7, and the magnetic vibrator 14 and the magneto coil 13 are movably arranged relative to each other. The ink cartridge has a control circuit 18 which uses power generated by the magneto coil 13 in order to generate a notification signal for notifying the user of a mode corresponding to the amount of power generated by the magneto coil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
