The invention relates to pellets ofα-olefin-vinyl acetate copolymers with a vinyl acetate content of≧40% by weight, based on the total weight of theα-olefin-vinyl acetate copolymer, as an embedding material for solar modules, wherein the pellets comprise, as additives, at least one UV activator and at least one silane coupling reagent, and to the use thereof for the production of films for solar modules.
