The present invention relates to a power-generating apparatus with improved generation efficiency. The power-generating apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises an air compression unit, a rotating shaft, a compressed-air supply line, a flywheel unit, and a generator. The air compression unit compresses air by rotating a compression rotor thereof, and discharges the compressed high-pressure air. One end of the rotating shaft is arranged at the center of the compression rotor so as to rotate interlockingly with the compression rotor, and a compressed-air storage pipe, the top of which is open, is arranged in a lengthwise direction inside the rotating shaft. One end of the compressed-air supply line is connected to the air compression unit and the other end thereof is connected to the top of the compressed-air storage pipe so as to guide the high-pressure air discharged from the air compression unit to the compressed-air storage pipe. The flywheel unit is integrally formed with the other end of the rotating shaft so as to rotate by means of primary rotating force produced by the rotating shaft, and by means of secondary rotating force produced by the propulsion force generated when the compressed air supplied to the compressed-air storage pipe is discharged, thus increasing the rotating force of the rotating shaft. In addition, the generator is connected to the lower end of the rotating shaft so as to generate electricity by means of the rotating force of the rotating shaft. |
