The method involves connecting a data device with a memory over a data connection, and retrieving information about paper to be printed and data for authentication of the information from the memory. The information is printed on the paper by the data device comprising a printing unit and a radio frequency identification (RFID)-reading/writing unit for a RFID-transponder. The information is written on the transponder together with the data by using the reading/writing unit. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a method for producing official document.
