PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing, by means of a melt extrusion, biaxial-oriented polyester film which has high surface roughness, satisfactory diffusion effect, and high adhesiveness.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the polyester film comprises steps of: providing at least one polyester material and adding diffusion particles to the at least one polyester material; melt extruding and then rapidly cooling the polyester material to form a polyester plastic sheet; and biaxially stretching the polyester plastic sheet followed by cooling to thereby obtain the relevant polyester film.
