RECORDING SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD OF RECORDING SYSTEM, RECORDING CONTROLLER AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in recording quality as a result that a recording device receiving recording data transmitted from outside so as to perform recording discontinues recording operation.

SOLUTION: A recording system 1 provided with a printer 3 and a host computer 2 divides recording data to be recorded into a plurality of blocks and transmits the recording data to the printer 3 for each divided block by the host computer 2. The printer 3 is configured so as to store the recording data on the each divided block transmitted from the host computer 2 into a receiving buffer 33 in the receiving order and further to obtain the recording data on the each divided block having been received from the receiving buffer 33 and record the recording data thereof. The host computer 2 divides documents to be recorded such that dividing positions dividing the documents to be recorded into blocks become positions of blank data included in the recording data to be recorded.
