<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection type display device capable of being used under a state that the projection type display device has not yet stolen even when authentication thereof fails, and further to provide a control method of the projection type display device. <P>SOLUTION: A projection type display device is configured, in a case where password authentication is established, a step S3: YES, so as to operate by a normal mode, function non-limitation mode, that projects an image based on environment setting information having been changed while receiving a change of the environment setting information, a step S10, and, in a case where the password authentication is not established, a step S3: NO, further to operate by a function limitation mode that projects the image based on the environment setting information while disabling the environment setting information from being changed, a step S11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
