<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a continuous data group in the order of pages, in which each of portions on a tri-fold printed matter has the same print direction. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus receives image data D that is read from an upper portion U to a lower portion L on a surface S of a tri-fold printed matter P and next from an upper portion U to a lower portion L on a back surface R, respectively. The image data D is divided into partial data sets PD of each of portions U, M, and L of each of the surfaces S and R. The portion data sets PD of the upper portion U and the lower portion L on the back surface R are rotated at 180 degrees. Logical pages are then allocated to the portion data sets PD, in ascending order from the upper portion U, the middle portion M, and the lower portion L on the surface S to the upper portion U, the middle portion M, and the lower portion L on the back surface R, or ascending order from the upper portion U, the middle portion M, and the lower portion L on the back surface R to the upper portion U, the middle portion M, and the lower portion L on the surface S, so as to edit the portion data sets PD in the order of the logical pages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
