<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head that can detect pressure between a platen roller and a thermal head. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal printer which includes: a platen roller 10 which transports a print sheet 9; a thermal head 12 which presses the print sheet 9 against the platen roller 10 and performs printing to the print sheet 9; and a pressure sensor which includes the pressure sensitive conductive rubber 18 in which an electric resistance changes according to the pressure between the platen roller 10 the thermal head 12, and detects the pressure. The pressure that lies between the platen roller 10 and the thermal head 12 can be detected because the pressure sensitive conductive rubber 18 functions as a pressure sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
