METHOD OF SELECTING ANTENNA FOR COMMUNICATING PACKET IN NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost and low-power consumption wireless network capable of achieving high reliability and low latency with a limited band width.

SOLUTION: A transmitter 110 duplicates packets A and B, and selects subsets of transmit antennas 101 independent of channel characteristics between the subsets of transmit antennas 101 and receive antennas 102. Combinations of the transmit antennas 101 and the receive antennas 102 in the subsets of transmit antennas 101 are different. A receiver 120 selects the subsets of receive antennas 102 independent of channel characteristics between the subsets of receive antennas 102 and the transmit antennas 101. Combinations of the transmit antennas 101 and the receive antennas 102 in the subsets of receive antennas 102 are different. The selected subsets of transmit antennas 101 and the selected subsets of receive antennas 102 are used to transmit the packets A and B, and retransmit the packets A and B in the case of a failure in a previous transmission.
