PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a file to a destination by taking into account not only a communication device but also a host device.

SOLUTION: The communication device is connected with a host device and includes a communication control unit. The communication control unit controls a radio communication unit to transmit a file, which is stored by the host device, through radio communication to a destination in accordance with the type of the host device and the type of the communication device.
