<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress spreading around of explosive sound when compression failure of a specimen occurs and to prevent fragments of the specimen from being scattered around, when a compressive strength test of high-strength concrete is performed. <P>SOLUTION: A protector 1 is used at a compressive strength test in which a specimen 15 is placed between upper and lower pressure plates 10, 11, and compressive load is applied by the upper and lower pressure plates 10, 11 until the specimen 15 is destroyed. The protector 1 includes a protective container 2 which is placed on a top face of the lower pressure plate 11 to be used, can house the specimen 15 inside, has a container shape whose upper part is opened, and at least bottom part of which is formed of material having the same mechanical property as the upper and lower pressure plates 10, 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
