<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar solar generator expandable in the space. <P>SOLUTION: The solar generator is composed of a solar generator expanding apparatus provided with an assembly including a plurality of tape-springs (1) that support windable films (2) placed with a plurality of elements that can convert the solar energy to electric energy on the surfaces thereof. The tape-springs (1) and the films (2) are co-wound around a unique radius of curvature equal to the natural radius of curvature of folding of the tape-springs (1) in a wound state, the plurality of the tape-springs are substantially parallel with each other, and interlinked by transversal braces (5) ensuring the rigidity of the bearing structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
