<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a female screw, which forms a female screw that improves axial force of a male screw. <P>SOLUTION: The method for forming a female screw, presses a machining tool 32 that includes: a hole forming part 100 formed in a tip of the machining tool for boring a hole 110 with respect to a workpiece 12; a screw forming part 102 formed continuously to the hole forming part 100; and a blade 108 formed on a rear end side of the screw forming part 102, onto the workpiece 12 while rotating the machining tool, to form the female screw. The method for forming a female screw, includes: a hole boring step of boring the hole 110 in the workpiece 12 by the hole forming part 100; a female screw forming step of forming the female screw 14 in the hole 110 by the screw forming part 102; and a spot facing forming step of removing an entrance part of the female screw 14 by the blade 108 to form a spot facing 114. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
