<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective light-emitting diode capable of accurately emitting light beam toward a relatively far front with narrow directional characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A light-emitting element 15 is mounted on an element-mounting-side lead 17. The element-mounting-side lead 17 is fitted to grooves of a side wall 11b and is fixed. An upper portion of the side wall extends above the element-mounting-side lead 17 fitted and fixed to the grooves and a wire-connecting-side lead 21. On the extended upper portion of the side wall, a transparent glass plate 51 is attached so as to cover an opening of a support 11.
