<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently treat, with a good appearance, a gap generated between a building skeleton and a roof free end of a terrace, which is constructed to be attached to, not to be fixed to, the skeleton, and to prevent infiltration of rainwater as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A roof free end of a terrace 1 is installed about 10 cm away from the skeleton, a swing and deflection gap B for allowing for the swing and deflection of a roof 12 due to the agitation load of a wind pressure and snow loads is disposed between the roof free end and the skeleton A, a wide planar closing member 4 of an extrusion molded material of elastomer is projected upwards from the roof free end to the side of the skeleton A, and by bringing a tongue-like distal end 43 thereof into elastic press contact with the skeleton A freely slidably in the vertical direction, infiltration of rainwater between the skeleton A and the terrace 1 is prevented as much as possible by the closing member 4.
