<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling inking device capable of automatically inking and correctly inking, and a method of inking using the device. <P>SOLUTION: The traveling device includes a traveling means for traveling along an H steel beam W, a travel distance measuring means for measuring a travel distance, an inking means for inking on the H steel beam W, front/rear end sensors for detecting front and rear ends of the H steel beam W, and a control means into which signals from the travel distance measuring means and both sensors are inputted for driving and controlling the traveling means and the inking means. The control means stops traveling and performs inking by the inking means when the travel distance detected by a travel distance detecting means during the traveling of the traveling device from the rear end toward the front end of the H steel beam W reaches distances L2-L4 and L6-L8 where the inking should take place, and measures full lengths L1 and L5 between the front and rear ends of the H steel beam W detected by the front and rear end sensors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
