<p>Algae harvesting comprises concentrating a part of a liquid in which the algae are located, which include bringing the algae present in the liquid, for flotation, by means of micro-bubbles exhibiting a diameter of = 80 mu m, and harvesting. An independent claim is also included for an algae harvesting device, comprising a container (1) connected with a feed line, an injection point for gas, an injection device and a floating material extraction device, which is provided to remove algae from the container, where the feed line in an operable condition is connected to a liquid source and the injection device is provided to mix and enrich a liquid supplied from the liquid source under pressure, with a gas to form a gas-liquid mixture, where the feed line comprises a connection point over which the algae-containing liquid is supplied, where the injection device is designed such that the gas-liquid mixture after passing through a expansion device comprises micro-bubbles with a diameter of = 80 mu m.</p> |
