<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of detecting a change of a property of fuel with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 1 determines that a property of fuel is changed when a moving average value of a voltage outputted from a cell stack 5 is changed in a rating operation state, in which a sweep current of the cell stack 5 is constant.
