<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroll structure of a centrifugal compressor which is improved in a scroll cross section in the vicinity of a tongue, suppressed in the generation of a recirculation flow from an outlet passage to a scroll passage in the vicinity of the tongue, improved in compressor performance at a small flow-rate operation point, and improved in surging resistance. <P>SOLUTION: In the scroll structure of the centrifugal compressor 1 having the spirally-shaped scroll passage 13, the scroll passage 13 is characterized by comprising a flat connecting part A in which the cross section shape of a passage connecting part 23 in which a winding start and a winding end of the scroll passage 13 intersect with each other has the same height as that of a diffuser outlet passage, and is formed into a flat shape, and a change part 21 which gradually returns to a circular cross section shape from a flat cross section shape of the flat connecting part A along the circumferential direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
