<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamable resin composition, which is stably produced, is excellent in dispersibility of thermally expandable microspheres, and can form uniform cells in an expansion-molded body obtained even when being used for molding, and to provide the application of the foamable resin composition. <P>SOLUTION: The foamable resin composition contains, with respect to 100 pts.wt. of a resin component (A): 1 to 300 pts.wt. of a thermally expandable microspheres (B) each composed of an outer shell comprising a thermoplastic resin and an expanding agent that is encapsulated by the outer shell and vaporizes by heating; and 0.1 to 30 pts.wt. of at least one kind of resin additive (C) selected from a high molecular weight acrylic polymer (C1) and a fluorine-based resin (C2).
