<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noxious organism control agent comprising specific pyridine derivatives. <P>SOLUTION: The pyridine derivatives are each represented by formula (Ie'). In the formula: Ar' is a pyridyl group which may be substituted or a pyrimidyl group which may be substituted; R<SB POS="POST">1</SB>is a hydrogen atom or the like; Y is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydroxyl group, an alkyl group which may be substituted by a halogen atom, an alkyloxy group which may be substituted by a halogen atom, a cyano group, a formyl group, or a nitro group; and R<SB POS="POST">4e</SB>is an alkyl group substituted by halogen.
