PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately charge a boot capacitor in the control of an inverter.
SOLUTION: A high arm control circuit 33 controls a transistor 42, which is a high arm side switching element provided on an inverter 4U. The high arm control circuit 33 is operated when a charge voltage is supplied to a boot capacitor 32. A boot capacitor 32 is charged in a front-end charge period prior to an ordinary operation period for driving a load 6. While the transistor 42 remains turned off during the front-end charge period, an IGBT 41, which is a low arm side switching element, repeats on/off. Therefore, a control power supply circuit 30 can charge the boot capacitor 32 without imposing a significant burden on the control power supply circuit 30 prior to the ordinary operation period.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
