<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic book device capable of inputting data without directly touching a display, and for making it unnecessary to provide any exclusive pen for the input, and capable of leaving the input memo or the like on paper, and of simplifying the input. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic book device includes: an electronic book terminal M equipped with a display D; and an input device A having a square frame-shaped optical waveguide W for outputting information input to the frame of the optical waveguide W to the electronic book terminal M, and for displaying the information on the display D. The optical waveguide W is formed with a plurality of cores for light emission at one of the frame-shaped sections faced to each other and with a plurality of cores for light incidence at the other section, and the top end of each core is positioned at the frame-shaped internal edge, and the top end of each of those cores for light emission and the top end of each of those cores for light incidence are faced to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
