<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise elimination method and a noise elimination device capable of eliminating noise superimposed on a signal without detecting the noise. <P>SOLUTION: A received signal S0 is composed of two signal levels of High and Low, and noise is superimposed thereon. A signal obtained by binarizing the received signal S0 in the period Tq shorter than the transmission time T per bit of the received signal S0 is delayed by the period Tq to generate three or more delay signals S1, S2, ..., Sk. Signal levels of the delay signals S1, S2, ..., Sk are detected simultaneously in the period Tq, and the most common signal level among a plurality of signal levels thus detected is extracted to generate a majority vote signal. Every time when the transmission time T per bit elapses, the signal level of the majority vote signal is detected at one point or a plurality of points in time within the transmission time T.
