<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To include an engagement part which forces elastic force to act on a restriction member in a wide range in a circumferential direction of an opening part. <P>SOLUTION: A webbing take-up device 10 transmits driving force of a motor to a spool by a driving force transmission mechanism to take up webbing onto the spool. A first engaging claw 86 second engaging claw 88 and third engaging claw 90 of a gear cover 78 are respectively engaged with a first projection 72, second projection 74 and third projection 76 of a gear housing 30 having the driving force transmission mechanism accommodated therein. A gear cover 78 is assembled in the gear housing 30. The sum of the circumferential extension of a first closed part 80 in an elastic deformation portion in a circumferential extension part to the first closed part 80 of the first engaging claw 86 is set bigger as compared with the sum of the radial extension of the first closed part 80 in an elastic deformation portion in the circumferential extension part to the first closed part 80 of the first engaging claw 86. By so doing, the first engaging claw 86 can force the elastic force to act on the gear cover 78 in a circumferential wide range of the first closed part 80. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
