<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material for hard coat more improved in scratch resistance of conventional hard coat films, and having higher film strength. <P>SOLUTION: The coating material composition can form a coating film very excellent in hardness and scratch resistance, and contains a composite oxide microparticle containing silicon and aluminum as main components. The content of the composite oxide microparticle is in the range of 0.1 to 5 pts.wt. with respect to 100 pts.wt. of components excluding the composite oxide microparticle. The content of the total of silicon and aluminum in terms of SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>and Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>in the whole weight of the composite oxide microparticle is 70 to 100 wt.%. The molecular ratio of silicon and aluminum contained in the composite oxide microparticle is 0.0005 to 0.05 in terms of Al<SB POS="POST">2</SB>O<SB POS="POST">3</SB>/SiO<SB POS="POST">2</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
