PURPOSE: A device for providing information of a call recipient at a proper timing and a method thereof are provided to transmit information related with the call recipient at the timing of call generation. CONSTITUTION: An event decision unit(223) determines the generation of an originating event, a receiving event, or a call end event. If one of the events is generated, an information display unit(225) displays information related with the call recipient which is stored in an information storage unit(221) based on the call recipient phone number by the corresponding event.
