PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element having high conversion efficiency.

SOLUTION: Attention is drawn to a traveling direction of light reflected by other surface of the photoelectric conversion element having a fine periodic structure on a light-receiving surface side. A concavo-convex structure for reflecting light is provided on other surface to reflect light traveling from the light-receiving surface side to the other surface side and to increase a component traveling along a photoelectric conversion layer. The advance distance of the reflected light through the inside of the photoelectric conversion layer increases thereby the light incoming into the photoelectric conversion element is easily absorbed by the photoelectric conversion layer. The light is difficulty emitted from the light-receiving surface side, so it is possible to provide the photoelectric conversion element having high conversion efficiency.
