STABILIZED &bgr; CRYPTOXANTHIN-CONTAINING WATER AND USE FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stabilized β cryptoxanthin-containing water usable for food and drink at a low cost.

SOLUTION: The stabilized β cryptoxanthin-containing water is characterized in that βcryptoxanthin is stabilized by adding vitamin C to water-containing β cryptoxanthin. The vitamin C excels in safety, is inexpensive and can stabilize β cryptoxanthin by itself without being used in combination with another stabilizing agent. The β cryptoxanthin in water can thereby be stabilized safely at a low cost.
