<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce possibility of a motion compensation image of low accuracy being added to a target image, while having an NR effect even when a subject occupies the most portion. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 10 comprises: a motion vector calculation part which calculates the motion of a reference image with respect to the target image by each target block as a local motion vector and calculates an index value indicating the matching degree between the local motion vector and a global motion vector by each target block; a motion compensation image generation part which generates the motion compensation block obtained by motion compensation of a reference block on the basis of the local motion vector by each target block, thereby generating the motion compensation image; a correlation determination part which determines the correlation between the motion compensation image and the target image by each target block; and an addition part which adds the target image and the motion compensation image on the basis of the correlation and the index value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
