<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a malfunction prevention device in an emergency stop device of an elevator equipped with a malfunction-preventive lock unit for preventing a malfunction of the emergency stop device which can prevent the malfunction in an energy-saving manner upon the occurrence of the malfunction of the emergency stop device caused by the shake of the lifting body. <P>SOLUTION: The malfunction prevention device is provided with: an electromagnet 13 which is brought into a non-conductive state in normal and emergency times, and into a conductive state when the malfunction occurs; a stopper 17 which has a magnetic body 14 facing the electromagnet 13, and moves downward with the magnetic body 14 attracted when the electromagnet 13 is energized so as to have its lower end come near the top of a damper 10, thereby preventing the damper 10 from being displaced upward; a coil spring 18 which constantly biases the stopper 17 in the ascending direction; and a power generator 25 which supplies electric power to the electromagnet 13 when the malfunction occurs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
