<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a sheet material feeding device which has better separation performance and carrying performance, and an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet material feeding device includes: an endless belt which is formed of a dielectric, stretched over between an upstream roller and a downstream roller, and mounted on the top of a sheet bundle to face the sheet bundle where a plurality of sheet materials are loaded; and a voltage applying member for applying an alternating voltage to a surface of the endless belt to form an alternating charge pattern on the surface of the endless belt. Thus, an uppermost sheet material of the sheet bundle is stuck fast and sent to a feeding direction. Separate drive sources are disposed in the upstream roller and the downstream roller, and a control means controls the drive sources of the respective rollers individually for generating flexure on a paper contact face of the endless belt to become suitable for sticking paper when the paper is stuck fast. Furthermore, when the paper is carried, the paper contact face of the endless belt is imparted with a tension force to be planar so as to become suitable for the paper to be carried. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
