<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of a duct-type air conditioner, capable of easily and sufficiently cooling electric components. <P>SOLUTION: A partition plate 106 is provided to divide the inside of a case into right and left. A piece end of the partition plate 106 is fixed to the backside of a front plate 102. A heat exchanging side plate 141 is disposed on the piping exit side of a heat exchanger 140 to hold the heat exchanger 140 in a vertical posture. One end of the heat exchanging side plate 141 is fixed to a rear plate 103. The other end of the heat exchanging side plate 141 and the other end of the partition plate 106 are fixed to each other, and the heat exchanging side plate 141 and the partition plate 106 are erected in a row to define a partition wall β. A blower chamber 120, in which a blower 150 and the heat exchanger 140 are arranged, is formed on one side of the partition obtained by defining the partition wall β. An electric component chamber 130 is formed on the other side of the partition obtained by defining partition wall β. An air passage is formed to lead from the inside of the frame 101a of a safety drain pan 101 into the electric component chamber 130 and to lead from the electric component chamber 130 to the blower chamber 120. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
