<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross shaft universal joint capable of transmitting large torque while preventing the mutual rattling of yokes connected to each other via a cross shaft and suppressing force required to operate a steering wheel. <P>SOLUTION: When transmission torque is small, a shaft part 51 is rotated to rotate a needle roller 7 via O-rings 81, 81 made of an elastic material. The needle roller 7 is inserted with interference fit via the O-rings 81, 81 between itself and an outer peripheral face 511 of the shaft part 51 to prevent the rattling of the shaft part 51. The O-rings 81, 81 are made of the elastic material to suppress the rotating torque of the shaft part 51, thus suppressing force required to operate the steering wheel 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
