The objective of the present invention is to provide a mobile communication device and communication method that are able to generate, and transmit to a user, information that is beneficial to the user and that provides sensor data. The mobile communication device (10), which relays the communication of a server device (70) and a sensor apparatus (50) present in a proximal area, is provided with: a biological information reception unit (20) that, from the sensor apparatus (50), receives biological information of the user wearing the sensor apparatus (50); a sensor unit (30) that detects state changes in the mobile communication device (10); and a public network communication unit (40) that transmits the biological information and information relating to state changes via a public network (60) to a server device (70) and receives health management information generated in the server device (70) using the transmitted information. The biological information reception unit (20) transmits the health management information to the sensor apparatus (50) in order to be displayed at the sensor apparatus (50). |
