<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system obtained by integrating an illumination optical system and an image formation optical system so as to match the optical axes of both optical systems in order to improve accuracy of depth information of a three-dimensional image acquisition device, and to provide the three-dimensional image acquisition device including the optical system. <P>SOLUTION: The optical system 110 for the three-dimensional image acquisition device includes: an image-forming objective lens 111 that is an image-forming lens having an opening formed in the center portion through which the optical axis passes; an illumination objective lens 122 that is an illumination lens disposed within the opening of the objective lens 111; and a light source 121 that provides illumination light to the illumination objective lens 122.
