<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the posture of an arm with less force when a shade is drawn out by changing the posture of the arm while moving the arm. <P>SOLUTION: This window shade apparatus 50 includes: a winding apparatus 56 for winding a window shade 52 in a retractable manner; a guide support mechanism 60 including a guide rail 66 having a guide path 66P and a movable member 64 movable along the guide rail 66; and the arm 70 coupled with the window shade 52 and supported on the movable member 64 so that the posture of the arm can be changed. The arm 70 is provided with a first gear 72, and at least a part of the guide path 66P is provided with a second gear 78. A speed-reduction gear mechanism 80 engageable with the first gear 72 and the second gear 78 transmits a rotary motion produced by the engagement with the second gear 78 as a rotary motion at reduced speed for changing the posture of the arm 70 by engagement with the first gear 72. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
