FLAME RETARDANT RESIN COMPOSITION, AND OPTICAL FIBER CORD USING THE SAME

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant resin composition excellent in flame retardancy, and an optical fiber cord using the same and excellent in flame retardancy and bending rigidity.

SOLUTION: The flame retardant resin composition contains 100 parts by mass of a thermoplastic resin component (A) containing 70 to 95 mass% of (a) a polyolefin resin containing a polypropylene and not modified with an acid, and 5 to 30 mass% of (b) a polyolefin resin modified with an acid, 30 to 150 parts by mass of magnesium hydroxide (B), and 1 to 30 parts by mass of a crystallization nucleating agent (C).
