<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turning motion aid, with which a user can effectively exercise for resolving insufficient exercise of the user's chest, back, abdomen, waist, buttocks or knee regions and for strengthening muscle power, by moving the waist to turn with respect to the central axis of the body. <P>SOLUTION: A holding member 6 for holding at least one of the user's chest, back, abdomen, waist, buttocks and knee regions, and a rotary member 4 performing rotational motion by being manually or automatically driven are connected together via a motion transfer mechanism 5 for transferring the rotational motion of the rotary member as turning motion to the holding member.
